Sigvaris (formerly BiaCare) ChipPads are filled with open-cell foam chips in channel formations to gently stimulate and massage fibrotic tissue to facilitate movement and drainage of lymph fluid.
A benefit of the Sigvaris - ChipPad is it's moisture wicking properties that stretches to provide form-fitting comfort.It is used on the dorsum of the hand or foot. It can assist with softening scars from carpal tunnel surgery, or for use underneath compression bandages over pockets of lymphedema.
